Salesy

A term describing a salesperson who follows an aggressive, pushy and superficial approach in sales. The tactics of a salesy include reaching out to potential customers by applying pressure and relentless attempts to forge a sale, mostly in a one way communication. In other words, a salesy does not try to understand the needs of prospects before embarking on persuasion attempts.

In reaction, prospects often become at unease and unresponsive to any further attempts by the salesy. Whether individuals or businesses, dealing with such salespersons is grossly undesired and considered to be counter-productive or pointless.
