Focus Group


In relation to data collection, a focus group is a small group of targeted persons who attend purpose-specific, discussion sessions under the direction of a leader to communicate their ideas and impressions about an organization, its offerings (products and services), etc.

Focus group is a collective interview involving a small number of demographically similar participants who have common backgrounds/ experiences, in order to gauge their reactions to specific questions. Their answers will be evaluated for research purposes.
