Domestic Shell Company


A shell company that conducts business transactions such as currency and asset transfers within the borders of its country of incorporation or facilitates local corporate mergers and reorganizations. It is a business entity that is formed in a state or jurisdiction in which it is applying for registration. Companies owned by foreign individuals or entities are formed as domestic limited liability companies (LLCs) unless they were originally established in another jurisdiction.
