Ahliyyat al-Ada Al-Kamilah

Arabic (أهلية الأداء الكاملة) for being completely eligible for taklif/ takleef, i.e., the capacity (ahliyyah) of a person to enjoy and exercise legal rights, and taking responsibility for obligations. It is a complete, active legal capacity or capacity of execution/ performance; a term that describes a person’s fitness or capacity to undertake or perform an act or conduct with legal repercussions, in an active manner, and across the board. Hence, it only involves a complete or full set of rights.

With a complete active legal capacity, a person is competent to act in whatever manner deemed by him/ her to be appropriate without have to get permission from others (nor to be subject to others’ intervention). As an adult, a person has complete legal capacity (unless an impediment arises, impacting this capacity, such as sickness, insanity, bankruptcy, etc.)

Ahliyyat al-ada al-kamilah is a subset of ahliyyat al-ada.
