Dark Liquidity Pool


A liquidity pool that offers traders with large orders (sell orders/ buy orders), i.e., block orders, the means to trade without having to reveal their trading details such as the sizes of their orders or trading objective or interest, etc. Orders communicated through dark liquidity pools are not “front run”, and hence will not influence the market for a given stock.

The dark liquidity pool is also known as a dark pool.
