Call Crossing Network


A crossing network (CN) that receives and directs confidential bids and offers into the pool where all are held until a call auction is set up. Then, the matching engine crosses as many orders as possible using its matching routines.

The number of calls (call auctions) carried out each business day differs across platforms, but in general it ranges from once daily to once hourly.
