Deferred Cost Marketing

A marketing for a specific project in which the cost (marketing cost) is deferred for future periods, rather than incurred at inception. The deferred cost technique allows entities to access full potential of a marketing campaign without having to incur all the cost upfront.

In other words, part of the upfront cost will be spread over future periods, while current period also takes its respective share.
