Structured Promissory Note


A promissory note that is combined with the price change in the value of a specific underlying asset such as a commodity, exchange rate, index, etc. The yield of a structured promissory note consists of that of the promissory note and the increase/ decrease in the underlying price.

Structured promissory notes are an alternative to deposit notes, and come in multiple types including: range accrual promissory notes (RA promissory notes), wedding cake promissory notes (WC promissory notes), and double no touch promissory notes (DNT promissory notes).
