Sukuk which are issued in an internationally accepted currency such as US dollar or euro. An example is an issue of dollar-denominated Sukuk in Saudi Arabia. These sukuk target international investors, i.e., investors who seek to hold sukuk denominated in a specific international currency for return and risk exposure considerations.
