Stock Performance Call Provision


A call provision in which the issuer can exercise the call right only if the underlying stock rises above a specific threshold known as the provisional call level.

Stock performance call provisions are typically embedded in convertible bonds, and have the effect of reducing the value of these bonds by forcing the holder to convert to equity and give up the residual value of the embedded option.
