European Parisian Option


A Parisian option which gives the holder the right to exercise only at the option’s maturity date. In other words, this option’s exercise is subject to two conditions: the barrier condition and the expiration (exercise) date condition. If the option is of the type that activates beyond the barrier, the option holder needs to wait till that border is breached, in which case the option is activated, and also he cannot do anything before the option reaches its maturity date, only at which exercising is possible.
