Plain Vanilla Warrant


A warrant that allows the holder to buy (if a call warrant) or sell (if a put warrant) an underlying share of stock (typically common stock) at a predetermined price at or before a set date. Unlike complex or exotic types of warrants, plain vanilla warrants have basic features and therefore they are simple and easy to understand and trade.

Vanilla warrants are also known as trading warrants or single-equity warrants.
