About us

This website (conceived, started and established in 2005) offers a wide array of definitions, concepts, analyses, insights, articles, tools, and information all in the arena of finance, portfolios, stock exchanges, derivatives, banking, hedge funds, international finance and so forth. It handles, furthermore, the workings of financial institutions and the role they play within the financial system. Special topics related to the financial practices, like financial statements analysis and ratio analysis, are also touched on. In so doing, the website mainly derives its content and materials from the author’s works, articles and publications. All terminology presented in the site will be compiled in a special glossary, to be issued once completed.

The website (this version) was re-established in mid-2020, introducing a major face-lift in terms of scope, functionality, design, corporate identity, etc. A self-explaining motto (one-stop, non-stop) was adopted on account of two premises: one-stop shop, where users can find everything about finance; non-stop, in the sense that the website’s content undergoes continuous updating, while new terms and concepts are added on a daily basis.
