Level Payment Swap


A swap agreement that practically converts the cash flows from an amortizing debt instrument into a fixed payment at the periodic payment level of that instrument. In this sense, the remaining balance of the amortizing debt does not depend on the notional amount of the swap on which the swap payment is based.
