Shared Waqf

Shared waqf (وقف مشترك) is a form of waqf (Islamic endowment) in which the assets (property) assigned as endowment are donated to family as well as charitable purposes (hence it combines both family waqf/ waqf zhurri and charitable waqf/ waqf khayri), and the income/ usufruct generated from the waqf assets/ property is shared by the family/ descendants and the public.
