Spread-Adjusted Note


A debt instrument that bears a base rate fixed or linked to a sovereign rate (Treasury rate) and a specific spread linked to the credit spreads prevailing in the market at given reset dates over the life of the instrument. This note is a variation on a credit-sensitive note (CSN).

It is known for short as SPAN.
