Intermarket Sector Spread


The yield spread between the yields offered in two sectors of the bond market with the same maturity. A prime example of the intermarket sector spread is the yield spread between a non-Treasury sector issues and Treasury issues with the same maturity. More specifically, it may be the yield spread between a 10-year corporate bond and a 10-year Treasury bond.
