A convertible security that has that is issued and sold outside the country whose currency denominates it. For example, a dollar-denominated convertible security that is issued in a European country is a Euroconvertible.
An example of a Euroconvertible is a Euroconvertible bonds (ECB)- Eurobond, Euro-issue– are hybrid securities with the properties of both stock and bond, a debt security that bestows on its holder the right to convert into another type of security (equity security), all denominated in a foreign currency.
