ETP


An acronym for exchange-traded product; a financial product that tracks certain securities, an index/ benchmark, a currency, a commodity, or other types of products or instruments. The product represents an exchange-traded security that is pegged to the performance of the underlying over a period of time. An exchange-traded product (ETP) trades like a security on an exchange such as the stock market. These products also provide a means of diversification for investors, and make its underlying more liquid and tradable in the market where investors can buy and sell ETPs such as shares.
