Icelandic Option


A middle ground between a European option and an American option. That is, this option can be exercised anytime within a specific exercise period (such as two months) before the option expires. As such, the price of this option would be expectedly higher than that of an identical European option and lower than that of an identical American option.

The Icelandic option is also known as a Bermudan option or an Atlantic option.
