Delivery Date


The date on which a forward contract and a deliverable forward contract/ a futures contract is scheduled for delivery. It is the date on which the seller must deliver an underlying asset/ commodity which in turn the buyer must take delivery of, and pay for.

For non-deliverable futures contracts, which are cash-settled, the delivery date is the final settlement date.
