Solicited Real-Time Promotion


A real-time promotion which is initiated on the request of the client/customer. Such a promotion, in some jurisdictions like the U.K, must be carried out in a clear, fair and not misleading way, ensuring that no untrue claims are made. Furthermore, the purpose of the promotion must be made clear at the initial point of communication, and communication must take place in proper hours (not in unsocial hours). Once a contract is concluded as a result of such a promotion, the firm must not stipulate/ exercise a free right of withdrawal for its own advantage.
