Take-and-Pay Option 


An option that is established by trading the underlying. An example is an energy option in which the rate of power consumption is set in a band: a minimum and maximum level at a certain price. The rate of consumption is allowed to swing or change only a limited number of times by the option holder.

It is also known as a swing option.
