Ba’i Najiz


Arabic (بيع ناجز) for a sale (ba’i) in which the price of the object of sale or underlying is paid in cash (or any other means of payment) at the time of the transaction. In other words, the transaction is completed and with immediate effect. The exchange of the price and the object of sale is carried out hand to hand at the same time. It may also involve the exchange of a commodity for another (barter) hand to hand at the same time.

In English, it is known as cash and carry.

Najiz is an Arabic term (ناجز) that translates as completed or full.
