Ex Scrip


It refers to shares bought in a private company that do not entitle their holders to current scrip issues. In other words, it is the seller, not the buyer, of these shares who is entitled to receive shares which may be given free to existing shareholders.

Ex scrip is also known as ex capitalization or for short as XC.
