Bearer Bond


A bond which pays coupons or periodical interest payment to the owner. Originally, it has detachable coupons, where the owner, called the bearer, presents the bond coupon and is paid interest. In other words, whoever presents the coupon is entitled to receive the interest.

It is also known as a coupon bond.
