Static Topography


A topography report that depicts a two-dimensional map of a derivative position: it shows the distribution of the strike prices of the derivative contract (such as options, caps, floors, etc) as measured in face value of the exposure against expirations. The diagram consists of a horizontal axis (expiration times) and a vertical axis (strike prices).
