Quanto Basket


A collection of assets in which one or more of the assets are traded in a currency different from that denominating the basket payout. For example, a basket could consist of assets denominated in baht, yuan, and yen, while its payout is dollar-denominated.

Quanto baskets allow option users to gain protection or take views against price movements in the underlying assets without being exposed to exchange rate movements.
