Invisible Supply


Uncounted stocks of a given commodity which are held in the hands of wholesalers, manufacturers, and producers, but cannot be identified for certain. Invisible supply may refer also to stocks which are held outside commercial channels though virtually available to the market.

It is the opposite of a visible supply.
