A market situation that arises when prices experience temporary retracement in a declining market (bear market). In other words, this occurs when market prices reverse up from a bearish trend (the so-called bear-confirmed status). Bearish correction is an indication that the market enters a resting phase before it continues its drop. The bearish correction status may be observed above the 30% line or below it if it doesn’t already exceeded that level.
This market condition is also known as a bear correction.
