Soft Commodity Futures


A commodity futures in which the underlying is a soft commodity such as sugar (sugar futures), soy beans (soy beans futures), wheat (wheat futures), coffee (coffee futures), cocoa (cocoa futures), cotton (cotton futures) and frozen concentrated orange juice, etc. By nature these commodities are either agricultural produce or a processed form of natural raw material.

The opposite type of commodity futures is known as hard commodity futures.
