The asking rate per square foot for a specific building or unit of space that a broker or property owner states (quotes). Such a rate may differ from the actual rates paid by tenants which are usually determined based on the negotiation of all terms and conditions in a specific rent/ lease contract.
The quoted rental rate is typically exclusive of the expense pass-through related to the respective rent/ lease.
