Waqf Manqul


Arabic (وقف منقول) for movable endowment (waqf). It is a type of waqf in which the subject matter (mawqoof) is a movable property (manqul) such as machinery and equipment, vehicles, animals, supplies, monetary assets, etc. Movable waqf property or mal manqul represents assets that can be moved or transferred from its original place/ location.

It is also known as waqf of movable property (wakaf of movable property).

Waqf manqul is the opposite of waqf ghair manqul (immovable endowment).
