Arabic (وقف غير منقول) for immovable endowment (waqf). It is a type of waqf in which the subject matter (mawqoof) is an immovable property (ghair manqul) such as land and buildings (which house schools, masajid, hospitals, utilities/ facilities, farms, etc.) Immovable waqf property or mal ghair manqul represents assets that cannot be moved or transferred from its original place/ location.
It is also known as waqf of immovable property (wakaf of immovable property).
Waqf ghair manqul is the opposite of waqf manqul (movable endowment).
