A form of waqf (Islamic endowment) whose assets are intended for investment (i.e., generating income/ ghallah). The income generated from managing the waqf assets will be used in constructing and reconstructing waqf properties.
Waqf istithmari (وقف استثماري) is Arabic for investment waqf.
