Arabic (عقود التقييدات) for contracts (uqud– plural of aqd) that aim to prevent or restrict disposal or conduct in a certain way. Examples include termination of endowment (waqf), termination of agencies (wakalah), dispossession of an administrator (of property) due to some reason affecting his ability to carry out his duties (such as insanity, lack of competency, etc.), and so on.
