An event latency is the amount of time lapsing between the entry of the event into an inbound queue (incoming entries) and the arrival of an auction result, as per the process taken placed for that particular event, towards coming up with an output.

The event latency includes the waiting time in the inbound queue and the auction processing time (embedded calculations given the inputs put through).
