Paper Portfolio


A portfolio whose investments are transacted at benchmark prices. It is constructed on the assumption that trades would be costless, i.e., direct and indirect costs (transaction costs, slippage, bid-ask spread, liquidity impact, opportunity costs, and market trends) do not exist. Trading decisions are implemented whether or not a counterparty has an interest in the trade.
