Offering Price


The price at which mutual fund shares are offered to the investing public. This price is equal to the net asset value plus a sales charge, if applicable. In a no-load fund, the offering price is equal to the net asset value. In a load fund, the sales charge is added to the net asset value, and the resulting amount is the offering price.

This price is also known as an asked price.
