Embedded Sukuk


A sukuk structure which includes an embedded option (khiyar) to convert into other asset classes, subject to a set of prespecified conditions. Examples of sukuk that can be enhanced with embedded options include hybrid sukuk, zero-coupon non-tradable sukuk, pure-ijarah sukuk, etc.
