Bandwidth


An analyst’s overall or remaining capacity that can be used to carry out analytical tasks by a certain time. Usually, bandwidth is measured by the time left for an analyst to finish a specific task or a number of tasks related some investment banking processes such as bake-offs. For example, if an analyst has some bake-offs in the next few days and several active deals, he is said to be short of bandwidth.
