Rotation-Based Call Market


A call market in which securities, available for trading, are called one at a time. Markets that call securities on the basis of rotation may carry out one rotation per trading session or more depending on trading hours per day. Stock markets used to operate using call in rotation. However, over time this practice faded away, and markets moved to continuous trading.
