Asset Value


The net market value of a firm’s assets on a per-share basis. This value refers to the stock of a firm, especially when the stock price doesn’t reflect the full value of its assets. The firm is undervalued by the stock market when asset value is larger than share value. This situation arises from assets that produce meager or insufficient current income.
