A form of snowball in which the coupon level, at certain observation dates, is automatically reset at preset levels. This feature helps to reduce, to some extent, the risk of path-dependency associated with snowball products. The payoff of a resetting snowball will not only accumulate on the basis of the previous coupon, but will also take into account the amount by which rates are below that specific level when its coupon resets.
