Multiple Payout Credit Default Basket Option


A credit default basket option in which the holder receives a cash settlement payment each time a credit event occurs, in relation to one of the basket components. In other words, the multiple payout credit default basket option entails multiple payments during its time to maturity provided that credit events take place, and therefore doesn’t cease to exist upon the occurrence of the first credit event.
