Synthetically Leveraged Super Senior Tranche

A leveraged super senior tranche (LSS tranche) in the tranche notional is synthetically leveraged using a pool of synthetic assets (usually equity and subordinated tranchesthat provide leveraged exposure). Leveraged structures, including synthetically leveraged super senior tranches, are typically designed to yield-hungry investors.
