Dain Ghair Sahih


Arabic (دين غير صحيح) for debt (dain) that may be waived in different means that are not confined to repayment (ada’) or exoneration (ibra’). Examples of dain ghair sahih include debts such as ju’al (جعل) prior to work commencement, debts owed by underage children or spendthrifts without the proper authorization of their guardians.

Dain ghair sahih translates as invalid debt or unreal debt.
